A powerful portrait of Bill Withers, this work captures the amazing soul and sounds coming out of this singer-songwriter. I’ve always been a fan of vintage analog recordings, and this mans songs were a great example of that 70’s warmth! Great songwriting, mixed with funky grooves and soulful singing. We lost Bill Withers in 2020, and although he had a short career and quit the business early to make a stand, his music will stand the test of time with his big hits that are still classics being played today.
